In 2010 the Winter Olympics came to Vancouver, bringing a wave of national pride and intense media coverage. Local Yaletown hotspot George Lounge wanted to capture the excitement of this event by building an extended patio, offering flat screen access to every game and encouraging customers to rally for their favorite athletes while sampling the menu.
Webstager took this a step further by creating a live broadcast of George Lounge patrons, utilizing three high-resolution IP cameras to stream every gasp, groan and cheer - and the result was one of the most popular cam-sites of the 2010 Olympics, with broadcast coverage sweeping Google, CTV and beyond.
