It was 7AM and a brisk but cloudy day in May. Looking North towards coastal mountian range, soon we'd be in their domain - the valley of Canada's 'Tigers'. We were alive with anticipation, not knowing that what we were doing would not only open up new frontiers in engaging our social media tools to save wild Grizzlies - but capture the attention of a major TV network looking to turn the project into an award winning TV series.
Using WebStager's Theme Green, we provided the engine for Theme Green 'Bears' - an exclusive online community designed to share and exchange social content to rainse awareness and save Grizzly habitat.
The project included Hi Def web cams in in a remote northern valley of BC Costal mountain range. So remote is the location that Green battery power had to be augmented with solar and micto hydro generators.
Wireless communications was positioned throughout the valley, home to approximately 50 wild Grizzlies waiting for returning salmon.
